My trip to Wegmans

So I went to Wegmans to get some meat for dinner and figured while I was there I'd stock up. We spent most of the grocery budget for the month today, but I'm thinking the remaining $75 or so will be perfect for a fabulous Thanksgiving dinner.

  • Two cups shredded mozzerella, $1.50
  • Silk Very Vanilla Soy Milk, $2.99
  • Wegmans Organic Soy Milk, $2.79

  • Coffeemate Pumpkin Spice Creamer, 32 ounces, $2.99
  • Cream Cheese, $1.19
  • 2 pints of Wegmans Heavy Cream, $1.49 each
  • Stonyfield YoKids six pack of yogurt (the sugar was WAY less than any of the other kinds and no artificial sweeteners), $2.89
  • Foods You Can Feel Good About White Cheddar and Pasta dinner, for those crazy nights, four at 79 cents each
  • Sandwich bags, 100 count, $1.99
  • Snack bags, 100 count, $2.49
  • 5 pounds unbleached white flour, 99 cents

  • v8 Tomato Herb soup, $2.49
  • v8 broccoli soup, $2.49
  • Wegmans Italian Wedding soup, 2 cans at $1.19 each
  • Wegmans organic mango salsa, 2 jars at $2.99 each
  • Goya Extra Virgin Olive Oil, first run, cold-pressed, 8.5 ounces, $3.69 (I heard that cold pressed doesn't use chemicals like lye on the olives.)
  • Club pack of boneless pork chops, 8 thick chops, $7.12
  • A 2 lb sirloin steak, $10.23 (that I won't buy again)
  • Colgate strawberry kid toothpaste, $2.99
  • 6 ounces fresh raspberries, $2.50
  • broccoli crowns, 99 cents a pound, $1.28
  • Fresh dates, $3.41
  • Whole pineapple, $2.99
Total: 87.34
(plus 10.59 at the liquor store if you count the cost of the brandy I bought to make the steaks)
